Azure Associate Architect

About the Role 

We are seeking an experienced Azure Associate Architect with strong hands-on expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF), Data Engineering, and Azure Cloud Architecture. The role involves designing, building, and optimizing end-to-end data integration and cloud-based analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with data architects, business stakeholders, and development teams to define scalable and secure Azure data solutions. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Azure-based data architecture solutions leveraging Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Data Lake, and Databricks. 

• Define and lead data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF). 

• Architect and deploy end-to-end data integration frameworks supporting structured and unstructured data. 

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data platform solutions. 

• Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of Azure data pipelines. 

• Implement data governance, security, and compliance best practices in Azure. 

• Work with DevOps teams to automate deployment and monitoring using Azure DevOps / CI-CD pipelines. 

• Conduct architecture reviews, performance tuning, and cost optimization for Azure resources. 

• Guide and mentor data engineers and developers on Azure data best practices. 

• Stay up to date with emerging Azure technologies and recommend enhancements for modernization. 

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 

• 10+ years of IT experience, including Azure Data Platform architecture and development. 

• Strong experience in Azure Data Factory (ADF): pipelines, triggers, linked services, dataflows, and integration runtimes. 

• Expertise in Azure Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, Databricks, and SQL Database. 

• Proficiency in ETL / ELT design, data modeling, and data integration across systems. 

• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (ARM / Terraform). 

• Knowledge of Azure security concepts — Key Vault, RBAC, Managed Identity, Private Endpoints. 

• Strong SQL and scripting knowledge (Python, PowerShell preferred). 

• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, big data processing, and data governance. 

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and client interaction skills. 

Good to Have 

• Experience with Power BI integration and reporting on Azure data sources. 

• Exposure to event-driven architectures using Event Hub, Service Bus, or Stream Analytics. 

• Knowledge of DataOps and FinOps practices. 

• Azure certifications such as: 

               –Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert 

              -Microsoft Certified: Data Engineer Associate (DP-203)
