About the Role 

We are looking for an experienced Informatica Lead / Associate Architect who will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data integration solutions using Informatica PowerCenter and related technologies. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end data integration architecture, mentor team members, and collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to ensure efficient and scalable data delivery solutions. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of ETL solutions using Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Cloud. 

• Define and implement best practices, coding standards, and data integration frameworks. 

• Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable data integration designs. 

• Optimize ETL jobs for performance, scalability, and reliability. 

• Design and manage complex data mappings, workflows, and sessions. 

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the ETL development team. 

• Collaborate with data modelers, DBAs, and BI teams to ensure seamless data flow across systems. 

• Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot production issues. 

• Support migration and upgrade initiatives (e.g., from on-prem to cloud environments). 

• Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.

Required Skills & Experience 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Informatica PowerCenter and related tools. 

• Strong experience in data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL architecture design. 

• Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, and database platforms (Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, Snowflake, etc.). 

• Experience in performance tuning of Informatica mappings and workflows. 

• Familiarity with Informatica IDQ (Data Quality) and Informatica Cloud (IICS) is a plus. 

• Exposure to cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) preferred. 

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. 

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. 

Good to Have 

• Experience with Python scripting or automation for ETL workflows. 

• Knowledge of DevOps / CI-CD pipelines for ETL deployments. 

• Experience in Agile / Scrum methodologies.
